Random Pictures from the last little bit

Her favorite place to nap - the stroller.  She goes hard and would frequently fall asleep on the walk to school.  I think everyone at school got used to her being asleep when I arrived.

Tyler loves the piano!  When Annie practices he'll sit and listen if he's in his high chair - if he's on the ground he'll get over there and start tapping away at the keys on the end.

WHOOPPPEEE!  Does summer get any more fun?  I think not!

Peek-a-boo anyone?

Have I mentioned how this kid has everything he could ever possibly want or need brought right to him?  Popsicle?  Drink? :)

Annie's birthday and Baptism

Annie also had a big birthday in May - she turned 8 and was baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  We had family in town for the day, Robert was able to baptize her and everything went beautifully!  Congrats Annie!  What a great day!

Annie was baptized in the same dress that I was baptized in - lots of her relatives have worn it on their big day too - her aunts Jenny, Jane, Lisa and Mary and her cousins Brianna and Tristan.  You're next Kate! ;)

Happy First Birthday!

It's time for a little catch up - we've had some big birthdays around here...
This guy turned one - Happy birthday!

He'd been watching us eat treats for so long that I think he was more than ready to dig in.  At one point Robert went to take it away and he was NOT happy about it. He's one laid back, happy little guy and I just can't get over how fast time seems to be going lately.  Any chance the next year won't fly quite as fast?

Happy Easter!

We had a nice, quiet Easter this year. We hunted for eggs with friends, on Saturday we looked for eggs in our backyard and on Sunday we went to church and then came home and had a nice meal together. Here are some quick pictures! Never mind that it was so bright that we didn't really get a good one on Sunday and I guess you'll have to please excuse the soccer uniforms they were wearing on Saturday ;)

It's no easy feat getting all of them to look at the camera and smile at one time.

It was so bright - when you add that fact to the fact that we tried to take a picture AFTER church, not before, I guess we were lucky to get any sort of picture at all!

Spring a little early this year...

March turned out to be a great month for a lot of reasons, a few of them being 3 birthdays, a quick weekend trip, and fantastic weather! At one point last month I heard that there had been 8 or 9 days over 80 here - that's unheard of! We like to make the most of good weather so we've been spending a lot of time outside. A few quick pictures -

Family traffic jam on the slide -

Family bike rides have begun!

Kate has turned out to be very interested in bike riding - she rides like a champ and loves it! We put the cones out in the cul-de-sac and she goes, and goes, and goes...

Annie is great with little kids and loves playing with her siblings. This past weekend she got Tyler saying "Uh-oh!" it's very cute!

Hope everyone is having a great spring - Happy Easter!

A teeny, tiny bit of snow

It's been a weird winter! Very little snow and very little cold. There are parts of that I won't complain about. It's nice not having to do massive bundle ups for all the kids every time we leave the house, but the major bummer is that the kids have hardly had the chance to play in the snow.

Last weekend we did receive two or three inches of snow and we made really good use of it! Peter pretty much wanted to be out there at all times and the girls had a lot of fun as well. Here are a couple of pictures documenting our winter fun this year.

When the weekend was done I had to wash all of the snow gear because there was mud all over it (a sure way to tell there isn't enough snow!).

I know that March still might pull through with a snow storm, but March means spring so we aren't counting on it. I guess we won't have a snow cave post this year - we'll just have to wait till next year!
