Super Biker

Happy Spring to everyone! Peter gave us good reason to post a blog this evening. Yesterday he was pretty adament that Robert take off his training wheels because he was "going to learn to ride without training wheels". Robert loved the idea and took off the wheels and they practiced for a bit (Robert broke a sweat running around with him :)). Peter did surprisingly well. At the end of the practice session, he didn't want Robert to put his training wheels back on.
As soon as Robert got home from work today, Peter had his shoes on and was ready to go again. And guess what? Just one week and a half after turning 4, he is riding without training wheels! Crazy boy!

As Robert was teaching Peter, some of the neighbor kids came out to run/ride around as well. One of our neighbor friends decided to take her training wheels off and is now cruising around without trainers as well.

Tonight another little boy decided that if Peter and the little girl were doing it, he was going to do it too and there was a third one without training wheels. I must say, it was hilarious to look out at the cul de sac and see all these parents running behind their kids helping them learn the ropes. It really was a perfect spring evening!
