I've been meaning to put up a couple of fun Halloween pictures - better late than never? At any rate, now we can move onto possibly posting about the other fun Holidays this year...

Busy Building - With Anything!

For as long as the kids have been around, they have loved building things. Whether it be blocks, tinker toys, constructs, and most recently Legos, they LOVE building! Robert should be credied for most of the kids' building abilities. He is frequently on his knees, building right along with them. However, the older they get - the more they do it on their own. I love it, I guess I like it when I feel like they are using their creative juices. I love when we walk in the door from school and I hear the blocks/Legos/Constructs being dumped out.

Tonight as I clicked on a random folder of family pictures, I immediately came across pictures of the kids and their creations. As I scrolled quickly through a few more, I was almost surprised at how many pictures we have of things they have made. Here are some samples of their work through the years.... nothing crazy, but fun nonetheless. Some of the pictures the kids took on their own -

Now even Kate is on the bandwagon and while the kids are at school, she'll work on her own creations and then ask for a picture.

Peter especially loves to build, I saw this picture of him with blocks when he was under a year old!

So knowing how the kids - especially Peter - love to build, should I have been surprised this morning when I got to the kitchen to see just exactly how Peter had decided to unload the dishwasher? I guess not, but I still had to laugh!

Guess we can add dishes to the list of things the kids will use to build with!

Happy Kiddos

It's been a busy, fun fall around here. The kids are growing like weeds and are having lots of fun. The kids love having Tyler around and love that he is interacting more and more with them. Everyone wants a shot at holding him. Here are a couple of cute pictures - enjoy!

School Starts

School started over two weeks ago (we've even had a day cancelled because of the heat here (no AC in the buildings)), but here are a few pictures of the kids as they started school. Annie was excited to be going back and Peter was THRILLED to be starting school this year. So far they both really like their teachers and everything that school has to offer.

Peter was so excited and he got Annie's Kindergarten teacher - he is super happy!

Here they are - walking together. It's been cute watching Annie take care of Peter and make sure he gets to his class, etc.
Annie and some of her friends on the first day - they are on the same soccer team and were happy to have found each other that first morning.

Summer here was fantastic! So many fun things going on - here are just a few pictures of the kiddos, doing what kids do best...

Kate's a hoot! She's always "felt the rhythm", Remember this video?

We thought it was time to post an update on her dance moves. While the older kids were at swimming lessons, she decided to let loose with Dad. While still a little camera shy, she did pretty well.
